    In order to create or edit your podcast Ad post, please follow the following steps.

    First, set the post name to your podcast name then “ad”, so mine is “Skeptical Skeptics Ad”. This will make it easy to search for in the future. You can find my ad post to look at as a template.

    Then, sign in with the same credentials you use on the BigHeadsMedia.com site to post your podcast.

    Next, highlight “New” on the WordPress Toolbar Above and select “Post”

    Once on the post editing screen, please add your ad audio from the email Mark sent out earlier this week by:
    1. Dragging and Dropping
    2. Creating a new paragraph then selecting audio (music note symbol) on the paragraph block selector which displays as a (+) when the paragraph is selected. It should prompt you to upload your ad audio.

    Make sure to grab the audio from the email because this audio was corrected for loudness to match industry standard, the copy you have might not be.

    Then, just like when posting an episode, please set your featured image to your logo.

    After that, select “Podcast Ads” as the category. Then it should show up in the “Podcast Ads” section of the site which will serve as a permanent location for us to grab the ads. Also, if you update your ad, just find your post, edit the audio, then resave the post. Do not make a second post. By editing the existing post forever, the next person to grab your audio will always have the newest file.
